3 Good reason to buy online

There are 3 good reasons why online retail sales consistently outgrow traditional every year:

Shopping online is more convenient -Goods purchased are shipped to your doorstep, there's no traffic jams, waiting in long ques. E-books are downloaded straight away and can be read instantaneously, not to mention cutting down of the usage of paper. Famous rent a movie and watch are itunes, netflix. Netflix is a subscription-based movie and television show rental service that offers media to subscribers via Internet streaming and via US mail. Apple Inc has produced many wonderful product such as ipod, iphone andipads. With the sales of ipads outgrow personal computers, the itunes store has skyrocketed too.

Variety -You can purchase anything and everything available for sale just by a few simple click of your keyboard and mouse. Ebay, Walmart, Amazon are the few giants and they are growing rapidly everyday. Online retail are good places for adult stuff, product and services you would not want someone know that you are buying, eg. some health issues, breast enhancement, dealing with pain, anxiety etc.

Typically much less expensive. -For instance, consumer electronics from cameras to smartphone can usually be had for cheaper online, books used or new (or electronic) are usually priced more cheaply at Amazon than in a big bookstore and even shoes tend to be cheaper online now that most of the online shoe retailers offer FREE shipping. With retail outlets high rental, high overhead cost staffing, equipment, POS etc at record high, the online retail shops and shoppers are foreseen to increase even more.

General rule of the thumb, stick with the major online stores like Amazon (physical goods and digital products) , Clickbank (digital books). If you find a product you want at an extraordinary low price, you might want be more cautious, look into their fine print, shipping cost, reliability.

However some of the product you should go back to the retail stores are,

Big and heavy items -fridge, washing machines, (weigh in the handling and shipping cost)

Stuff with coupons -some retail giants offer huge discounts periodically to attract customers, if you shop a lot only coupons you might end up with a small profit too, as seen on TV.

Clothes and some designer items -usually if the stores has huge inventory build up they try to unload the inventory with massive discount, sometimes below their cost to cater space for new hot items or during season change. You can try it out physically and see whether the clothe suits you. Benefits of shopping for clothes in stores are amplified at outlet stores, where prices are slashed much lower than anything you're likely to find online. There are high-end designer clothes that you can't get online at as much of a reduction as in an outlet store.

Generally buying something below the price of $20 range might still be wiser to do in stores, depending on what the online retailer charges for shipping and whether it collects sales tax. You have to be wise.
